  • Aaron Dalestar is an accomplished freeskier whose passion for the outdoors was instilled in him by his parents at an early age, where he learned about the beauty of nature and the importance of protecting the environment. He has had many great achievements, including a podium finish at the Junior World Championships in Switzerland, and his self-produced ski videos have become a hot topic in the skiing world. Aaron enjoys using outdoor technology to improve his performance and blending music and sports to get in a better mindset while on the slopes. He says that keeping your mind in order and constantly striving to improve yourself are the keys to overcoming the severe psychological pressures of competitive skiing. What inspired you to start your favorite outdoor activities (snowboarding/skiing)?

It taught my parents how much fun the outdoors can be, what they can get from nature, and how to protect it and give back.

What is your most memorable moment or accomplishment?

One of my biggest accomplishments so far was standing on the podium at the Junior World Championships in Switzerland. I felt that my hard work and focus had paid off when I represented the United States and skied in front of a huge audience from all over the world. Another thing I'm proud of these days is collaborating with other athletes and professional cinematographers to create unique and motivational videos about skiing that will eventually be combined into a ski video.

How has Outdoor Technology improved your performance or experience in your sport?

Outdoor Technology brings music and athleticism together, allowing you to step outside of your own headspace and inspire and generate new productive thoughts while skiing to music.

What challenges did you face and how did you overcome them?

There is a mental aspect to this sport. The challenges I overcome are with my own mind. I try to overcome these challenges by preparing, getting used to the skis and the environment and always challenging myself even when I'm scared. I tell myself that if I can see it, I can do it.

Can you tell us about some personal goals or projects you are currently working on?

I am currently working on qualifying and training for the Men's Freeski Halfpipe for the Italian Olympic Games in 2026. I am also working on a video part for the upcoming film, which will be released this fall.

As a multi-sport athlete, Will focuses on mental and physical balance, always learning new tricks and trying to find the safest way to improve. Currently, he is passionate about improving his backcountry skiing skills and refining his snowboarding and surfing style. He also enjoys cycling and hiking, simply for the joy of the outdoors.

What inspired you to start your favorite outdoor activities (snowboarding/skiing)?

When I was in elementary school, my father took me to a cross-country ski race. One race was at a downhill ski resort, so I rented alpine skis on my day off and tried skiing. After just a few jumps, I knew this was it. I stopped cross-country skiing and started alpine skiing full-time. I've also been snowboarding for about five years. It's a lot of fun because it gives me the same sensations I had when I was a beginner skier and when I first learned how to turn.

What is your most memorable moment or accomplishment?

The most rewarding moments have been making videos with my childhood friends and making so many new friends through the 17+ seasons of the Rhine Traveling Circus series. It's hard to pick just one, but I never would have dreamed I'd get to this point when I was younger.

How has Outdoor Technology improved your performance or experience in your sport?

Music and electronics help us capture the moments we look back on for a lifetime. Whether it's charging our phones or cameras or listening to new tunes that inspire us for the day, Outdoor Tech products will get you in the mood whether you're on the snow, surf or dirt.

What challenges did you face and how did you overcome them?

This sport is not only physical, but also mental. I try to learn new tricks as safely as possible, using my own experience and that of my friends, and to get out of my comfort zone. Learning is the most fun part of it all. And my biggest goal is to find ways to learn safely. However, sometimes you can't defy gravity. Still, it's a good experience because it gives you a chance to learn how to fall.

Can you tell us about some personal goals or projects you are currently working on?

I try to find a good balance between the different sports I play and I feel like I am slowly but surely improving my skills in each sport.

In terms of skiing, I would like to further my knowledge of backcountry and all-mountain skiing.
In snowboarding and surfing, I want to build on my fundamentals and become more smooth and stylish when it comes to simple tricks and turns.

I do biking and hiking purely for the enjoyment of being outside, so rather than pushing myself to the limits or trying something new, I just want to do it for the fun of it.

  • Jeff Ashton's passion for skiing began when he was three years old and his uncle Troy took him on his first ski trip, and it has continued to grow ever since. One of Jeff's career highlights was winning X Games Real Ski Street in 2016. This was a major milestone for a man who has always prioritized filmmaking over competition. Music is an essential part of his downhill routine, and he says that Outdoor Tech's Chips 3.0 helps him feel more energized and stay focused while cruising the powder. In recent years, harsh winter conditions have tested his adaptability and enabled him to be creative in less than ideal conditions. He is currently focused on filmmaking, tackling longer lines and more mountainous terrain in the British Columbia backcountry. They are moving away from resort destinations and gentle terrain and are venturing into terrain that pushes their boundaries and inspires their sense of adventure.

What challenges did you face and how did you overcome them?
